Worship
A key componant to the life of the Flatlands Reformed Church is Sunday morning worship. We gather together at 10:30am each Sunday to praise God for the blessings of our lives, to ask forgiveness for the mistakes than we have made, and to listen and enact Christ’s message of hope, reconciliation, grace and forgiveness. We worship in a fashion which attempts to gather the community together, listen to the Word of God and then respond to the God’s greatness.
The worship service follows the traditional Reformed liturgy. Sermons are preached based upon the lectionary text of the week and the congregation uses the Rejoice in the LORD hymnal. Children play an important role in the life of the church, and there is a children’s message each week.
